Momentary Prophets
(Hey-we all have fleeting moments of brilliance)
Acoustic folk band Momentary Prophets is coming to Salisbury’s Looking Glass Artist Collective this Saturday, touring to promote their album 'Sunflower.' How often do you get to hear sitar, banjo and kalimba all in one act?
Their music will remediate your soul like sunflowers remediate the soil. (Listen-www.myspace.com/momentaryprophets) Features: Prophet of Grounding and Groove - Logan Byrd; Prophet of Rhyme and Flow - Jake Hull; Prophet of Rhythm and Soul - Ted Packard.
Opening for them will be The Lightning Bugs, (Phil Harris and Elisabeth Hall) with their folk and world act full of charango, ukulele, guitar, accordion, saw, drum and who knows what else.
AND the prophets are bringing lots of lovely tie-dyed creations for you to ooh and ah over.
